KUKA.OfficeLite
Functionality
KUKA.OfficeLite allows you to create and optimize programs for KUKA robots offline on any PC.
KUKA.OfficeLite is practically identical to the standard KR C software. Through the use of the original KUKA user interface and KRL syntax, offline control and programming is exactly the same as when controlling and programming a real robot.
KUKA.OfficeLite requires no MFC and can thus be used on any PC or notebook. Programs can be transferred 1:1 from the KUKA.OfficeLite programming system to the robot – via a network or on floppy disk.
Features
  • This programming system has the same characteristics as the KUKA system software: Operator control and programming using the original KUKA user interface and KRL syntax with the full range of KRL commands.
  • The full range of system software functions is available as for the given software release. No hardware-periphery interface is possible, however.
  • Syntax check by available compiler and interpreter; creation of executable KRL application programs.
  • Total control of robot application program sequences; this makes cycle time optimization possible.
  • Program optimization - KUKA TechWare can be used and installed at any time. This means that you have complete original system software available on a standard PC – not an emulation!
  • Original inputs can be simulated.
  • KUKA.OfficeLite cannot be used to control a real robot.
Area of use
KUKA.OfficeLite is primarily intended for offline application development. It can, however, also be used for:

  • Simulation in conjunction with KUKA.Sim Pro
  • Training
  • Demonstration
  • Controller development
  • Application development
  • SoftPLC runtime system (optionally MultiProg, ProConos required)
KUKA.Sim Pro
Scope of supply
  • KUKA.OfficeLite is supplied on its own CD.
  • Windows 2000, Windows XP or Windows Vista is not included on the CD.
  • Installation program (multilingual), installation documentation (English, German, French).
  • No KUKA technology packages are supplied.
  • However, the KUKA technology packages of the robot can be installed on KUKA.OfficeLite in accordance with the appropriate (V)KRC software version.

 

  • System requirements

PC, laptop, etc. with the following minimum configuration:

  • Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2 or Windows Vista (Windows Vista Support is not yet available for all versions)
  • (Note: 64-bit operating systems are not supported)
  • Internet Explorer 5.x or higher
  • Pentium processor, 400 MHz or more
  • Single-processor, uni- and multi-processor modes are supported
  • Min. 256 MB RAM required

 

 

  • Note

 

    • KUKA.OfficeLite must not be installed on the KUKA robot controller.
    • KUKA.OfficeLite cannot communicate with external interfaces (e.g. serial interface, etc.).
    • Due to the vast range of possible software and hardware configurations, KUKA Roboter GmbH cannot exclude the possibility of compatibility problems with other system or application software.
