KUKA invited to give a speech at Robotic & Automation Seminar (RAS) 2009 seminar |

Kemaman, Terengganu, February 2008- KUKA Robot Automation (M) Sdn. Bhd was invited as a guest speaker to the Robotic & Automation seminar 2009. It was held at the TATI University College. The purpose of the seminar is to have a platform where those involve in the robotics and automation industry could share their knowledge. Being the specialist when it comes to robotics, KUKA Managing director of Asia unveils the past, present and future of the robotics industry to over 100 guest that have attended the event. The response of the speech was welcomed with positive notes.

Reputation and good relationship precedes everything. That is why KUKA robots have to ensure that the company must provide the best to their customers, whether it is the range of products to the services they provide. A fine example would be during 22nd February 2009, when KUKA Robot Automation (M) Sdn. Bhd. has been invited to The Robotic & Automation Seminar (RAS) 2009 as a guest speaker. The seminar was held at the TATI University College, located in Kemaman, Terengganu. The seminar was organized by the Faculty of Electrical & Automaton Engineering Technology. The seminar aims to provide a communication platform where researchers, academics and industrialist nationwide can share their knowledge in the robotics and automation sector. KUKA Robot Automation (M) Sdn. Bhd. was invited to the seminar due to the reputation of being one of the best specialists in robotics. About over 100 guests attended the event. The guests consist of Deans and CEO of various well known local university and colleges.
The seminar officially began after the opening ceremony of the RAS2009 by Y/BHG Dato’s Dr. Abdul Latiff Bin Awang, state chairman of Education, higher education, Science and Technology and Human resources. During the seminar, Mr. Bruno Geiger, Managing Director of Asia, gave a speech regarding about the past, present and future of the robotics industry. He also shares with the audience about the need to increase the flexibility of the means of production, in order to meet the requirements of highly flexible production with small bath sizes. He then proceeds to present the methods in which KUKA Robots can provide such a solution. |

| The day ends after a tour around the university followed by a forum discussion session. There was good feedback from the speech, with a few guest who are impressed by the presentation. Several well known universities approach KUKA to discuss possible new cooperation projects that could be done.
The seminar provides an excellent opportunity for KUKA Robot to exchange new contacts with different experts in the field of robotics and automation, who might have interest in cooperating for future projects. In addition, KUKA Robots strengthen their ties with TATIUC, whom have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with last year. KUKA Robot Automation (M) Sdn. Bhd has come a long way since it was establish a few years back. Now stronger than ever, KUKA Robot Automation (M) Sdn.
