Lightweight robot (LWR)
The outer structure of the KUKA lightweight robot is made of aluminum. It has a payload capacity of 7 kg and, thanks to its integrated sensors, is highly sensitive. This makes it ideally suited to handling and assembly tasks. Due to its low weight of just 16 kg, the robot is energy-efficient and portable and can perform a wide range of different tasks.
