Senior Account Manager

 
Responsibilities
 
  • Sells industrial robots and related accessories by seeking potential business opportunities through market research and extensive knowledge of the manufacturing industries in Canada, including consumer goods, packaging, food and beverage, plastics, machine tools and more.
  • Manages current accounts while ensuring growth in the Canadian market by winning new customers.
  • Applies theoretical and practical knowledge when representing the product/service offered and demonstrates experience using strategic selling and large account management techniques.
  • Manages the sales process when dealing with customers in multi-tiered, corporate and plant environments, including gathering RFQ’s for potential business, obtaining relevant quotation information, and quote presentation
  • Works directly with customer to understand automation needs, develops the plan and overall strategy to support these needs, and communicates the strategies internally to team members to ensure successful quotation development, project award, execution, and continued customer satisfaction.
  • Provides account management support throughout the execution phase including obtaining purchase orders, completing the contract review and delivery of any exceptions back to the customer
  • Develops monthly sales forecasts and achieves quarterly and annual sales targets
 
Profile
 
  • University or college degree in Engineering or Business Management and 5 to 10 years professional sales experience.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Results oriented with a strong dedication to meeting schedules and budgets
  • Strong computers skills and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Willing and able to travel (approximately 40%)
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent references, attitude and record of being a solid team member
  • Knowledge of German and French languages would be an asset
  • Valid driver’s license required.
